Korean dinner : Seoul OK

Sorry for the sudden absense from the blog world, my PC has been kicking up a fuss and I finally got everything settled with it. Since I've started, I have been covering mostly home cooked dishes so I'd like to make a slight diversion from my regular style and do a dining review instead.

For fathers day, Dad decided he wanted to go for Korean BBQ and we remembered dining sometime back in this place near Jalan Sultan Ismail where the food was good so we decided to dine there again. Not knowing the exact location, we made a few wrong turns and finally reached the restaurant which is on the same building as TGIF and Ruums and opposite Wisma Genting.

It was a rather cosy restaurant and not overcrowded or anything. The only drawback was that the menu was dominated by beef and we do not consume beef so we went for BBQ chicken instead.

Not bad actually, the chicken was quite tender and nice and we got a whole array of yummy sidedishes.. I personally liked the one with pumpkin and another asparagus based one.

We also ordered the seafood and oyster omelette which I loved and was so intent in eating that I forgot to snap a pic...sorry...

The kimchi based soup served was quite nice actually and I liked it although I found the kimchi itself to be too spicy for my taste.

To end it all, a cold gingery tea was served and I actually liked it..sweet with a gingery touch. Total bill came up to about RM 120 for 4 of us. Quite affordable actually..Just that each bowl of rice was RM 5 and we hardly even ate the rice in the first place..Maybe wasnt such a good idea to take rice.
