Two weeks back I noticed a Thai Fair going on at the carpark of the Cheras Market Centre as I was doing my groceries. Having tried the food once during the fair at South City Plaze, I wanted to try it again but was quite full after lunch.
The food spread was the normal one at all Thai Fairs, including the mango and glutinous rice dessert, the tomyam spread and tit bits such as thai spring rolls and crabcakes.

The tomyam didnt really appease me as I prefer my tom yam soup to have more body. This one has ample sourness but was too thin for my liking. The consistency preference changes from one to another definitely.
The otak-otak we tried was well ok...Nothing to shout about I felt... It had enough creaminess of the santan but was perhaps a little fishy for my taste. I wanted to sample out more stuff but had totally no space to.If you guys do want to pay a visit to the Thai Fair which sells other clothes and accesories on top of the food.. drive down to Cheras Market Centre which houses the Giant Hypermarket in Taman Connaught, Cheras. Its open till end of this week.
